Start-ups

Insight Risk Systems is a risk management consultancy specializing in risk-based prioritization for high-hazard industries.

The brand was built around structured authority: a palette anchored in deep navy, offset by warm cream and sand, confident and precise without feeling cold or bureaucratic. The typography was designed around scannability because the people reading these documents are often doing it quickly under pressure.

Video

The tone had to be measured and credible, like a confident explanation from a trusted peer, grounded in the same visual system as the print and deck work.

PowerPoint

Built to resist the way decks usually fall apart. Every slide has a defined structural role, designed around how technical professionals actually read.

Print

The design language carries directly from the screen work. Each piece needs to register credibility before a reader takes in a single word.

Website

The site extends the brand into a digital environment, maintaining the same visual language and hierarchy while adapting to how people navigate and read online.

Community Engagement

Ryde the Rock Spyder Rally is a week-long motorcycle rally held each summer on Vancouver Island, bringing together riders for a celebration of community, road culture, and some of the most scenic terrain in western Canada.

The visual identity needed to feel bold and kinetic without losing the warmth of a grassroots community event. The design language leans into the energy of the ride while staying accessible, the kind of brand that works equally well on a t-shirt, a website, and a video thumbnail.

Graphics

Every piece of event collateral was built around a consistent visual system: bold type, strong contrast, imagery that captures the landscape and the culture of the rally without feeling like generic outdoor marketing.

Video

Short-form promotional content designed to travel on social media, capturing the atmosphere of the rally and giving potential attendees a real sense of what the week feels like on the road.

Website

The site serves both as a promotional tool and a practical hub for riders, balancing event information and registration with the visual energy of the brand.

Photography

Event photography for Ryde the Rock Spyder Rally, capturing the riders, the roads, and the culture of the week in images that feed the brand across print, web, and social media.

Higher Learning

The University of Alberta Faculty of Engineering is one of Canada’s leading engineering schools, recognized for its research output, industry partnerships, and the calibre of students and faculty it attracts.

My work revolves around making complex ideas easier to understand, distilling hours of discussion and research into content that communicates quickly and clearly.

Presentations

A consistent slide system built for the Engineering faculty, designed to carry technical and academic content clearly across a range of contexts, from student recruitment to research summaries.

Video

Interview-style productions featuring students and professors, capturing the voices and perspectives of the people doing the work. The format puts the subject at the center and lets the content speak without heavy-handed production.

Photography

Professional headshots for University of Alberta Faculty of Engineering students and professors, providing consistent, high quality portraits for academic profiles, research publications, and departmental communications.

Additional Work

Membership Video

The bar at Maple Bay Yacht Club is a gathering point for its membership, and this commercial was built around celebrating that culture and the drink that defines it. A short-form piece that needed to feel like it belonged to the community it was made for.

Conference support

A professional conference celebrating women in engineering, where I was responsible for the full scope of brand and production: identity, presentation formatting, and all audio and video production. Every visual and technical element of the event was under my direction, from the materials attendees experienced on arrival to the content delivered on stage.

Documentary

A biographical documentary short following Curly Newman, a master storyteller born and raised on the secluded coast of Vancouver Island, whose life off the land and sea offers a rare glimpse into a world shaped by nature and isolation.
